A new survey provides residents the opportunity to give feedback on city of Durango trash and recycling services and rates. Responses will help the city develop programs to better meet the community’s needs and ensure long-term financial sustainability of services.
The city has more than 5,500 residental and commercial trash and recycling customers. Durango has one of the highest recycling rates in Colorado, with 33% of waste not ending up in a landfill.
"We are always looking to improve performance and customer service," said Levi Lloyd, director of operations. "We appreciate customers' opinions as we evaluate these valuable services."
Three surveys are available depending on if residents are living in a single-family home, a multi-family apartment/townhome/condo complex or are a business. Residents should take the survey or surveys that apply to them. The surveys are available at DurangoGov.org/VCH
