Opportunity bus
The city of Durango operates a door-to-door paratransit service for people with disabilities and senior citizens. Find information about the Opportunity Bus program.
Airport transportation
Durango Transit does not provide service the airport. Multiple private taxi and transportation companies are available as well as Uber and Lyft.
Transportation to Purgatory
Purgatory Resort's Skier Shuttle service to & from Durango will not be provided for the 2021/2022 ski season. Visit the Purgatory Resort website for more information.
Free bus passes for veterans
Due to a generous private donation Veterans are eligible for a free annual bus pass. To redeem the free veterans pass stop by the Transit Center during business hours with a DD 214, a VA ID card or other valid proof of military service.
Discounted passes for agencies/organizations
Human service agencies and organizations can enroll in a discounted pass program to purchase discounted bus passes and one-ride tokens for their clients and participants. Contact 970-375-4941 for more information.
