Building Community: Exploring City Planning and Architecture Through Film

The City of Durango Community Development Department is hosting a free movie festival Human Scalethat includes a discussion on how urban design and architecture can influence and define communities. “Building Community: Exploring City Planning and Architecture Through Film” will begin with a documentary film about the work of Danish architect Jan Gehl, The Human Scale, at 5 p.m. April 13 at the Powerhouse Science Center, 1333 Camino del Rio.
