The emergency water main repair along Columbine Dr. has been completed and water has been restored to the affected area.

If you are experiencing brown or cloudy water, please flush your water line by turning your cold water on until the water comes out clear. Typically, this takes about 15 - 20 minutes.

An emergency water main repair is occurring along Columbine Dr. Water service will be momentarily interrupted from the intersection of Clovis Dr. and Columbine Dr. heading south to the intersection of Arroyo Dr. and Columbine Dr. This will be affecting businesses and homes within the area. Please reference the map below for the location of the emergency water main repair.

Crews are on scene and will remain until the emergency water main repair has been completed, and water restored. Unfortunately, with the nature of construction, we do not have an estimated time when the emergency water main repair will be completed, and water restored.

Drivers, bikers and pedestrians are encouraged to exercise caution, follow all construction signage and flagger instructions.

An emergency water main repair is occurring south of Santa Rita Park. Water service will be momentarily interrupted or have low water pressure. This may be affecting businesses and homes south of Santa Rita Park. Please reference the map below for the location of the emergency water main repair.

WATER SERVICE INTERRUPTION EXPANSION

The scheduled curb-stop repair along E. 5th Ave. will expand the water service interruption to stop water flow. The service interruption will expand south along E. 5th Ave to E. 1st St. and east along E. 2nd St to E. 6th Ave. 

Crews will be working in this area and may further expand the water service interruption to stop water flow.

The City of Durango Utilities Department will be overseeing a valve replacement at the intersection of E. 29th St. and Main Ave. The replacement will be interrupting water service starting at 10:30am on Wednesday, March 11th. This will be affecting businesses and homes within the area. Please reference the map below for the projected area.
