Engage Online! Or at the upcoming Community Forum

The City of Durango wants to hear from citizens like you, and there are two upcoming ways to do so: by completing the “Engage Online!” activity or participating in the June 25th Community Forum.

To register for and participate in the “Engage Online!” Community Forum, visit DurangoGov.org/VirtualCityHall  before the June 21, 2018 deadline. Registering with your name and email ensures the validity of the responses we receive. The activity mirrors the May 17th Community Forum, and provides interested community members the ability to participate online if they were unable to attend in person.

The next Engage with your City! Community Forum is scheduled for 5:00-7:00 p.m. on Monday, June 25th at Carver Brewing Company, 1022 Main Ave.

Both opportunities are part of the City’s 2018 Public Engagement process, which is an opportunity for your priorities, values and vision to guide the future of Durango. Throughout the public engagement process conducted over the past few months, the community has told us to maintain existing general fund services, city infrastructure, facilities and the quality of life Durango offers. To do so, the General Fund needs $8-10 million per year to solve the future structural budget issue. Provide us your input on how you think we should address these needs!
